Château Simard St Emilion Grand Cru 2020

Beautiful plum colour, spiced raspberry and red cherry fruits, edges of fennel and aniseed. 22hl/h yield after the dry summer, harvest September 10 to 24. An impressive wine from the Vauthier family, great for early to medium term drinking, but these sandier soils suffered a little in the vintage conditions. Conversion to organic farming as of this 2020 vintage.
