Château Tour Saint-Fort St Estèphe 2014

Light ruby in colour, just softening into pink-russet around the edges, with the aromatics also softening into undergrowth and leather. On the palate this is attractive, gentle, dried roses, raspberry and tobacco leaf, very much open and on its plateau, good quality for drinking now, no need to wait, and likely to begin its descent within another five or six years. A château that has seen a lot of recent investment, since being bought (in 2014) by current owners Nova Sy. 14.85ha of fine gravel, sand and limestone soils.
