Plum colour, attractive glass staining suggesting a healthy ph. This is a wine that often has some austerity when young, with its slice of Petit Verdot in the blend, and you feel that again here, but it has a delicious fragrant backbone, and good lift through the palate. Expect tight cloves, plenty of closed down architecture, and cocoa bean, espresso on the finish. Estate signature, and great energy.
