Château Rochebelle St-Emilion Grand Cru Classé 2018

This is incredible tasty, living up to the hype of the vintage in St Emilion, and showcasing the potential of the soils at this spot. Sat at one of the highest points of St Emilion, well ventilated, with soils that go down just 30m to 50cm before hitting limestone mother rock. You really feel the saline twist of limestone seeping into the fruit, giving a juicy finish. Has concentration, texture, power, intensity, bright cassis, blackberry and bluberry fruits. Overall this is a wine that makes you salivate, with chalky tannins, and extremely drinkable. Tasted at a vertical at the estate a few months ago.
