This starts out with a juicy wave of raspberry and black cherry fruits, touches of espresso, cigar box and grilled cocoa beans, shorter on the finish than recent years of Clos Cantenac, but skilful from winemaker Charlotte Krajewski. 45% new oak. First time to have some Cabernet Franc in the blend of the main wine.
