Crushed rose petals, caressing tannins from the first moments, and a freshness that gives a lift through the finish, this is a year where Cabernet Franc was likely to have been up to 25% of the blend, and it shows in the construction of the wine. So much joy, orange peel, tobacco, blackberry,, even a touch of mint, easiy one ot the best of the flight. A hot vintage except for a few moments during the early season, with even and abundant flowering end of May, so good yields.
