Some pretty intense smoky oak notes on the opening, this has smooth if chunky tannins, a success in the vintage, cassis and bilberry fruits, slightly overpowering cloves, grilled sandalwood, coffee and cocoa bean, has character and estate signature, atypical for the year. Harvest 1 to 7 October. 3.78 pH No chaptilisation. 3.78 pH, 32hl/hha, 80% new oak.
