They have stayed on brand with this white, delivering creamy peaches, nectarine pit, cloves, vanilla bean, white flowers, 50% new French oak, cropping at three bunches, 22hl/h yield, which is not so far below their usual approach. I say this every year, but this is very much a gourmet style of white wine, and even in this vintage the Maltus team has kept to it – although it seems a little tougher to do so in 2024.
