L’Exuberance Blanc Bordeaux Blanc 2021

This 100% Sémillon, launched in 2020, is fast becoming a wine that I look out for every year, and it really stands out in 2021. Savoury white peach and pear flesh, crisp citrus, apple and oyster shell salinity, plenty of grip through the palate, with just enough grilled apricot to keep the fresh acidities in balance. 25% new oak, part fermented in barrel, winemaker Charlotte Krajewski at this clay-limestone vineyard with 50 year old vines.
