Marqués de Riscal Rioja 1863
Pale crimson colour. Orange peel, saline edge. Old leather boots, horsey aromas and flavours, hint of barnyard, hint oily, fine loose knit chalky textures and high acidity. Dried out and past its best but a lovely fragment of history. Finishes long and tangy.
