Medium deep crimson. Roasted coffee, roasted chestnut, red cherry, redcurrant, cola aromas and flavours, fine firm tannins and underlying marzipan, vanilla oak notes. Finishes firm and minerally. Very attractive wine. 20 months in bottle after barrel ageing before release.
