Michele Chiarlo Barolo Riserva DOCG Cerequio Riserva 2016

From a tiny 0.9ha site in La Morra with 50 year old vines, this is a lovely wine packed with raspberries, dried roses, tobacco, savoury broth, delicate tannins, very much signature mature Barolo. With a tightrope of fresh acidities, white pepper and truffle spices, delicious, and could either be enjoyed now, or held for another few years. 36 months in large oak casks then another 24 months in barrel before release.
