Penfolds Barossa Valley Bin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
Just a notch below the 2012 for me, fruit darker, less generous, more mint and leafy Cabernet style, it’s great quality but the architectural frame is more angular. Cocoa bean, espresso, eucalpytus and garrigue, this has a blast of fresh mint on the finish and will soften further over next few years. 100% new American oak for ageing.
