Penfolds Barossa Valley St Henri Shiraz 2020
Bristling with fresh young fruits, blueberry, spiced blackcurrant, liqourice, along with smoked earth. Fruit from a mix of Mclaren Vale and Barossa, and this vintage it’s 100% Shiraz. No new oak (barrels for ageing are up to 80 years old). This maybe the most traditional style of Shiraz in the Penfolds range, and it’s a corker. Peter Gago chief winemaker.
