Penfolds Vin de France French Winemaking Trial, FWT 585 2019
Sappy balanced claret, enjoyable and unfussy, majoring on red cherry and raspberry fruits, with chocolate drop and carefully worked tannins that give it a polished, international feel. Made and bottled in Cambon la Pelouse, with a blend of grapes from both Cambon and neighbouring estate (also owned by Penfolds) Ch Bellevue.
