Poesia St Emilion Grand Cru 2022
Inky, intense and glass-staining in colour. This shows a powerful construction from start to finish, with concentrated damson and black cherry fruits, and a wall of tannins. Located in a cooler sector of St Emilion near to Château Peby Faugeres, 40-60cm of clay then hits limestone, 3.39ph gives a pretty powerful hit of acidity on the opening beats. In the Leveque family since 2013, and they have since replanted more than half of the vineyard, 25hl/h yield in the end.
