Tenuta Luce Toscana IGT Luce 2018

Where the 2nd wine was 50/50 between Sangiovese and Merlot, they have increased the Tuscan identity with the first wine to a dominant Sangiovese blend, and it benefits from this in terms of its savoury seductive fragrance, and its emphasis on raspberry, red cherry fruits. The flavour deepens through the mid palate with waves of vanilla bean, black tea, olive paste and cloves. A trace of heat on the finish, but this is great quality. Alessandro Marini is winemaker here.
