Vignobles K Bordeaux Right Bank 2022
A clever new addition to the Vignobles K lineup, smartly titled Right Bank (made possible when they discovered that the term hadn’t been protected). From plots across their estates, comprising Le Rey, La Patache, Enclos de Viaud, Bellefont Belcier and Tour St Christophe. 25% new oak for ageing (although each plot is treated differently, with no oak for the Castillon plots). There is plenty of slate grip through the palate, but the tannins overall are soft and supple, and a ton of perky black fruits. Thoroughly enjoyable, and no need to wait.
