An excellent vintage, and this is bursting with classic Argentinian Malbec expression. Buckle up, and give it a few years in bottle, as right now you’ll find a wall of power and concentration, black cherry and damson, black chocolate, cracked peppercorns and smoked earth. 3.65ph, concrete vats for fermentation and 500-litre oak vats, natural yeasts, vineyard set at 1,100m in altitude on granite and limestone soils. This is the first time on the Place for this wine from the Altamira area of the Uco Valley, owned by the Zuccardi family.
