Château Boutisse St Emilion Grand Cru 2019

Tight tannins that have not softened hugely since the En Primeur tastings. There are attractive spice notes underneath, with cinnamon and turmeric against plump raspberry fruits, but oak feels dominant (this is in fact the last vintage before ageing is turned over entirely to amphoras, and the estate begins organic conversion).
