Château La Croix de Gay Pomerol 2005
Softened ruby red, tawny-pink around the edges, this is majoring on leather, tobacco and smoked earth notes, some undergrowth with a touch of brett. This is charming but very much in its drinking window – although it should stay here for another decade. Alain Raynaud winemaker.
