Château la Violette Pomerol 2021

High oak impact, with tar and liqourice root, enjoyable raspberry and redcurrant fruit. This has Pomerol signature even with an austerity to the tannins that is holding back the typical generosity of a young La Violette. Be patient, as floral aromatics come out with some coaxing, and this has plenty to enjoy over the medium term. Vignobles Péré-Vergé.
