Tight through the palate, with high spice, although it delivers juicy damson fruits also, and attractive feathery tannins, studded with fennel and cocoa bean, 10% new oak. Federico Bertucci arrived ias vineyard and cellar master in 2024, heading over from sibling estate Léoville Las Cases. as quality control, Antoine Mariaud technical director, originally from Sicily, joining Nenin from Bon Pasteur, lots of experience with drought viticulture. Both would have overseen just the final bottling of this 2022 vintage.
