Château Saransot-Dupré Bordeaux Blanc 2021
Great quality, vibrant but pale gold colour, a real stand out in the lineup, cold ash, white peach, citrus, mint leaf. The hint of smoked oak gives structure without ever overpowering, and there is a clarity to the fruit character. The first white vintage under this name dates back to 1890, making it a pioneer in the category, with white vines that have reached an average of 60 years, unusual on the Médoc peninsula. 2ha of white vines, aged in 75% oak, 25% stainless steel, producing an excellent wine from owners Yves and Maylis Raymond.
