Fonterutoli Chianti Classico DOCG 2022

This is a wine that I always like to have at home, for those evenings when you want to pour a glass of something you know is going to deliver, and works perfectly with food. It’s an excellent vintage, softly spoken, raspberry, rose petals, incense, savoury smoked herbs, from four different Sangiovese clones, set across seven vineyard sites in Castellina in Chianti running from 220m to 570m altitude, 12 months in 225l and 500l oak barrels for ageing, followed by 45 days in cement tanks.
